Labor Day marks the end of what Highway Patrol calls their “Target Zero” period, also known as the Hundred Deadliest Days. The final weekend of this time period saw four final fatalities closing out this year’s high risk time period. The final weekend’s deaths include fifty-five-year old Sedaris Mabry who was hit and killed by a truck that fled the scene, as well as thirty-year old Andra Robinson who died in the hospital from injuries sustained when he hit a tree and was pinned in his car. Also on this sad list are Justin Plumlee and another victim who is still hospitalized, but whose name has not been released. The driver of the truck who killed Sedaris Mabry has been arrested and charged as has the driver who struck both Justin Plumlee and the unidentified second victim.
