Concrete Slab Falls, Kills Family

An accident in Washington State has killed a young couple and their infant son after a large concrete slab from a highway overpass fell onto their vehicle. According to officials, Josh and Vanessa and 6-month old Hudson Ellis were killed as they drove underneath the overpass in Bonney Lake where construction crews were installing a sidewalk on the state Route 410 overpass when a concrete barrier fell to the roadway below fell onto the cab of the Ellis’ pickup truck.

Pastor James Ludlow called the accident, “tragic” and said that the couple who were in their 20’s were both youth ministers at the EastPointe Foursquare Church. He added that the Ellis’ were much-loved members of their congregation.
